Reef August 2022 Recap: Listings, Launches, Integrations & Plans Unfolding next!
Reef is becoming unstoppable with milestones like listing on Binance.US, remarkable community expansion, massive industry recognition, and more. August was a month of significant milestones and growth for the entire Reef ecosystem and has also set the perfect tone for our September plans.

Major Accomplishments:
- Reef entered the US 🇺🇸 Market as Binance.US listed $REEF token and opened trading on Aug 30, 2022, with the trading pairs: REEF/USD and REEF/USDT.
- Another major crypto centralized exchange, WhiteBIT, listed $REEF tokens and opened trading with $REEF/USDT pair for its community of 2+ million users.
- Renowned crypto exchange for cross-chain swaps, StealthEX supported Reef Chain allowing users to buy $REEF using BTC, ETH, or other coins and also made nominating and staking easier.
Reef Card Updates:
- Reef Card is now available to all in the EEA 🇪🇺 with a detailed Reef Card Community FAQ guide.
- We launched a program for the Reef Card Community to reward them for valuable feedback on their experience with Reef Card. The campaign was run for 15 days, with one winner winning $20 in $REEF every day for their remarkable contribution. Learn more here!
Integrations:
- As part of expanding our NFT & Metaverse ventures, Reef and Gangsters Paradise, a multi-chain NFT metaverse, formed a strategic integration to drive various joint operations.
- Reef and DystoWorld, a unique multi-faceted ecosystem that brings users’ digital goods into Metaverse using NFTs, entered into a strategic alliance. The strategic integration aims at exploring ways to cooperate on various NFT operations in the Reef ecosystem and to offer users wider access to metaverse products!
Ecosystem News:
- Binance joined the Reef Chain validators family, and now it will directly participate in validating transactions and making our blockchain best-in-class in terms of security.
- $REEF token is now supported as a payment option on the online shopping platform giant Uquid. Users can now purchase using $REEF on Uquid for a more streamlined & secure shopping experience.
- Famous crypto YouTube channel, Mad Investor, features Reef Card. Watch now!
- Reef Grants Project Onboarding: Reef completed the onboarding of Jungle Race, an NFT racing game, as part of the $20 Million Grant Fund support. Jungle Race offers an addictive, fascinating, and immersive gaming experience with 4 racing modes — Air, Karts, Run, and Boats.
- One of the most renowned projects, implementing innovations in the fields of Metaverse, Web3.0, NFT, and GameFi, BRN Metaverse has chosen Reef to deploy their metaverse project and NFT marketplace.
- We launched a campaign on Twitter to expand the community of the first NFT Marketplace of Reef, Sqwid, launching soon.
